Pedders coilovers

Full set 30 way adjustable for S15 but would also suit S14.  8 kg/front and 6 kg rear springs.  These did about 15,000 Ks on my car and were only replaced because I had a set of Bilstein coilovers built to replace these.  These were priced at  around $ 1500 new plus the adjustable strut tops at the front were about another $250.  Supposedly the same as BC RA series coilovers being sold by Just Jap for $1399 now,  http://justjap.com/bc-racing-coilover-suspension-kit-nissan-s15-d-27-ra.html.

PRICE - YOURS FOR ONLY $1000.

Brembo front brake setup for Silvia S15 - with free 5 stud conversion

Hi all.

Selling these, the older version of the Alpha / Omega Evo9 brake kit.  Like this link but with the older Evo 9 320mm rotors not the Evo 10 350mm rotors.  Note that the kit as sold still uses the Evo9 calipers same as mine.  These units were taken off a Evo after maybe 2-3,000 K and replaced with AP Racing gear so I picked these up near new from the owner of Alpha Omega personally.  The rotors and pads are the OEM Evo originals and after about 30,000 Ks are still as good as ever.  Pretty much fade free on the track and the other benefit is that you don't have to change pads as often, or much at all.

http://alphaomegaracing.com/p/119/c/73/Z33/ALPHA-OMEGA/Evo-350mm-Brembo-Front-Brake-Adapter-Kit-Version-3.html

I couldn't be bothered seperating the uprights / stub axles from the rest.  The original calipers, 320mm disks, and "dogbone" adapters cost me $1200.  So I'm throwing in a front 5 stud conversion and anodised aluminium wheel nuts and THE LOT IS YOURS FOR $1000

Bilstein suspension custom built for S15

Bilstein suspension built specifically for my last Silvia S15 with track and Targa work in mind using Eibach springs with 6 / 4 spring rates by the suspension engineer at Heasman's Steering in Sydenham.  If you don't know they are Australia's main Bilstein agent. These are internally the same as other kits sold to several Time Attack entrants costing over $5,000 and probably very similar to Heasman's own NSW Sprint Series car.  Which is here
http://www.the-lowdown.com/heasman-s14/

The only difference is that these are non adjustable.  I know enough to know that the experts can set the valving much better than any knob-twiddling that I could do.  The rates set by Heasman's work very well for track or Targa type work.

Suspension cost over $3100 alone plus the camber tops @ $300 as listed here
http://justjap.com/bc-racing-3d-adjustable-front-camber-tops-nissan-s13-s14-s15.html
and the invoice is attached here as proof.  These have done less than 15,000 Ks and are in as new condition.  They have a few marks and scratches as most of those Ks were done on Targa type roads and rural Queensland.

ASKING $2500 FOR THE FULL SET.  CALL OR SMS ADAM ON   0403600551

got some wheeels

For Sale, these four ROH 17 x 8 wheels for the track with Kumho V70A 235 / 40 R 17 semi slicks.

PRICE IS 400 for these tough wheels and tyres.  They have been my track wheels for nearly ten years how and have jumped a few kerbs in that time yet come away undamaged.  These tyres were a control tyre for the Brutes series at one point and should have at least 4 more days in them.

$400 FOR THE LOT.

Durban Markets - this year's haul.

I've been in Africa and I will post up this entry a little out of order, I will get to how I came to be in Durban shortly but for now I have to post up some pics for a friend.

First up, Zulu woven bowls. These are made from telephone wire. When made from grass by a skilled weaver they are water tight and were used in olden times for drinking beer.

OK, these aren't watertight

These necklaces 1, 2, 3 are the best quality, 23 strands each and the first two with matching bracelets. (dunno where the third bracelet went)  and the other two braided style on the sides are pretty detailed too.

Above, braided style. I somehow picked up 2 the same colour.  Same price - $15

Semi-precious stone necklaces and matching ear rings.  Guess who the turquoise one is for ?
(Hi Dot).
These above were a bit more expensive obviously.

Salt and pepper shakers

These bags are great, really sturdy and well made.  For reference the tiles underneath are 400 mm square which is about the same size as the bag.  I picked these up to carry the other stuff in and buy are they great

Little "Zulu princess dolls" make a nice gift.  Also some really genuine old ivory earrings

Zulu necklaces above and below, the cheaper type were everywhere but they were all way too large, they looked like body armour and in the usual cheezy (South African flag) colours.   These were classy.

Not a lot of earrings around this time, I guess things are a bit different each year.  I found these ones below at Victoria Street Markets though, there were a bunch of them on these felt cards, old stock from somewhere obviously. More fragile than they look - one set didn't make it home intact.

So a bit of a mix of things this time.  All of these are up for grabs or if you think any of the pieces would make a nice Christmas gift then let me know which one and who for.

---- oooOooo ----

I found a few pics of our friend Bob, the best little Epicor consultant in China, picking cherries in the grounds at the factory.  The cleaners and the kitchen staff would go out and come back with bowls and bowls of these.

We knew where they came from - paddock to plate - and they are even organic I guess.  And fresh !
